Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how to ask us to change or delete it.
01Scope
This Privacy Policy explains what information J. Ray Enterprises LLC d/b/a Tampa Bay House of Innovation collects when you visit tbhouseofinno.com, take the free SHAPE Brand Diagnostic, buy or take the SHAPE Brand Audit, contact us, or book a call, and what we do with it.
Short version: we collect what you choose to give us so we can score your brand, review your evidence, reply to you, and deliver the work you paid for. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers or analytics on this site.
02What we collect
Information you give us directly
- When you take the Diagnostic — your name, email address, business name, role, whether you agreed to hear from us, the kind of business you selected, your answers to all 45 statements, and the scores they produce.
- When you buy the Audit — Stripe collects your payment details. We receive your email address, business name, and whether the payment succeeded. We never receive or store your full card number.
- When you take the Audit — your name, email, business name, and role, the kind of business you selected, your ratings, and the evidence, notes, and explanations you write for each statement.
- When your colleague invites you to an Audit — the same details and answers, which become part of that business’s Audit.
- When you use our contact form — your name, email, business name, what you are looking for, and your message.
- When you book a call — the name, email, scheduling details, and notes you enter in Calendly.
Information collected automatically
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability. When a page loads, your browser also requests our fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
What stays in your browser
The Diagnostic and the Audit save your progress in your browser’s local storage, so you can close the page and pick up where you left off. After you pay, the Audit also stores an access pass there for 180 days. This data stays on your device and is not used to track you. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Stripe’s checkout pages set their own cookies under Stripe’s policy.
03How our forms work
- Diagnostic — when you submit, your details and answers are sent to a Google Sheet we control, and we are notified by email.
- Audit and contact form — submissions are received through Netlify Forms, our hosting provider’s form service, and we are notified by email.
Nothing is sent until you press submit. Answers still in progress stay in your browser.
04Third-party services
We use a small number of outside services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Netlify — hosts this site, keeps server logs, and receives Audit and contact form submissions.
- Stripe — processes Audit payments.
- Google — Google Workspace for our business email; Google Sheets and Apps Script to receive Diagnostic submissions; Google Fonts to display our typefaces.
- Calendly — scheduling. Receives the details you enter when booking a call.
05How we use information
- To produce your Diagnostic readout, review your Audit evidence, and prepare your Findings report and readout call.
- To compare your follow-up Audit with your first one, where your engagement includes it.
- To process payment, give you access to the Audit, and apply your $99 credit to consulting.
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you engage us for.
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
We send marketing email only to people who asked to receive it. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect anything you have purchased or engaged us for.
07What you write into the Diagnostic and Audit
When you submit the Diagnostic or the Audit, we receive everything you entered, including any evidence, notes, and explanations. Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, health information, or sensitive personal information about customers or employees. Describe the evidence; you do not need to paste it in.
08Retention
We keep Diagnostic and Audit submissions, contact form messages, and related correspondence for two years after our last contact with you, then delete them. That window covers your follow-up Audit and any return engagement. Payment and transaction records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Data saved in your browser stays until you clear it; the Audit access pass expires after 180 days.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time — see below.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, request a portable copy, or withdraw consent you previously gave.
Residents of California, and residents of the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, have specific rights under their local law, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email jray@jrayenterprises.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
10Children
Our services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold, and payment details are handled by Stripe rather than by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
